Deficiency Write-Up Cheat Sheet

Quick reference for best-practice write-up language, grouped by how often each condition turns up in the field. Search by the term you'd actually use — "phone inop," "governor," "rope damage" — not the formal code language.

Not a substitute for judgment on the specific unit in front of you — quantify what you can (measurements, counts, timings). Ten reference entries so far; more get added as patterns turn up. See also the field app's own write-up assistant for the full deficiency corpus.
